Participants will immerse themselves in the foundational principles of the discipline, mastering techniques such as vaulting, striding, precision landings, wall runs, spins, tacs, and the art of controlled rolling. A pivotal aspect of our curriculum is instructing on the nuances of safe falls, equipping attendees with skills to minimize injury risks.As the course unfolds, each session will methodically build on the previous, demanding increased concentration and practice. We recommend participants adorn themselves in relaxed athletic wear, complemented by sneakers boasting rubber soles for optimal grip. Kindly refrain from wearing footwear such as crocs, sandals, slippers, or shoes with foam-based bottoms to ensure safety and efficacy during training.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

In this program, participants will be learning the fundamentals of what it’s like to be an American Ninja Warrior. At the Obstacle Training Academy (OTA) we use fitness techniques inspired by the popular TV show American Ninja Warrior to get kids of all ages moving. In this structured class, participants will learn how to run up a warped wall, swing from a rope and rings, climb up a rope, traverse monkey bars, and many more Ninja Warrior related movements. Each class will progressively get more advanced and require more focus and practice. Participants should dress in loose fitted “gym class” style of clothes with sneakers that have RUBBER SOLES, PLEASE AVOID wearing crocs, sandals, slippers, or any style of foam bottom shoes. Also a water bottle is a good choice for this activity.
TEEN & ADULT OBSTACLE RACE TRAINING
Embark on a journey with the Obstacle Training Academy, tailored for both teens and adults who are curious about exploring new physical activities. Whether you're an individual diving into a fresh hobby like OCR (Obstacle Course Racing) or a parent aiming to share a bonding experience with your teen, our program is designed with beginners in mind.
Experience the foundational elements of Parkour and Ninja Warrior exercises. Engage in sessions inspired by the training seen on the TV show, American Ninja Warrior. With replicas of the show's obstacles, participants will gradually learn skills such as climbing, swinging on ropes, and tactical movements like vaulting, jumping, and running.
Our program thoughtfully incorporates both indoor and outdoor elements (weather-dependent). Each session starts with a warm-up, followed by 35 minutes of structured activity that ensures you progress at a comfortable pace, concluding with a cool-down stretch. Whether you've always been intrigued by obstacle racing or just want a new way to stay active, the Obstacle Training Academy is here to guide you. Dive in solo or join with a partner for a shared adventure in movement.
